WHEN CANNABIS GOES WRONG: Police Find Air Fryer Filled With Marijuana in Alabama Home

On July 13th, Colbert county police officers executed a search warrant at 509 SE 18th Street in Sheffield, Alabama. This is the home of Andre LeVell Poe Jr. and after the police findings, he was arrested on multiple drug charges. He was charged with drug trafficking. Poe is currently being held on a $20,000 bond.
Inside Poe’s home, officers found a total of $5,800, with $5,000 being found inside the home and $800 in a shed adjacent to the home (Newsum). Also, a backpack in the home contained 16 oz of marijuana and interestingly, the man’s Air Fryer was found to have multiple packs of marijuana hidden inside (Newsum). Inside the backpack, there were a number of Xanax tablets and in a vehicle that sat on the property were 111 Fentanyl tablets (Newsum). There were two guns found as well, including a handgun and a 0.40 caliber Glock.
