What is the Difference Between CBD Oils and CBD Edibles?

Read Time:44 Second

By: Kimberly Calderon

As the cannabis industry continues to prosper, we see more types of cannabis being predicted from oils, edibles, vapes, etc. The products differ in appearance, but what else makes these individual products unique and different from each other?

One of the differences is consumption because CBD edibles are chewable, while CBD oils are placed under the tongue and then consumed. Another difference according to Good Hemp is “edibles take time to be metabolized, whereas CBD oil will enter your system right away if you take it sublingually – in fact, doing this increases its bioavailability by roughly 20%”.

These two CBD products are different when it comes to consumption and how they metabolize, therefore whichever one you want to choose can be determined through personal preference.
