Vermont will soon decide on cannabis licensing
By: Travyan Suttle
The Cannabis Control Board in Vermont will make a decision in two weeks on who will receive marijuana licenses and at what cost. Most marijuana growers both big and small should be able to legally grow pot by this time next year under the new state law.
The Cannabis Control Board has created a state plan that will support small individual growers to produce by providing provisional licenses that will help them meet the demand.
The decision on how much these operations will be taxed in Vermont is expected to be announced at the beginning of October.
