Fireworks aren’t the only thing people are lighting up this 4th of July.
For the first time in five years, Independence Day lands on a Saturday which experts estimate will lead to record-breaking sales in the cannabis industry. According to Akerna, a global regulatory compliance technology company, there will be an 87% increase in cannabis sales above the daily average. They predict July 3rd will be the highest grossing day of the year, even surpassing April 20th, otherwise known as 420. The days in July are long and dry so it’s definitely in your best interest to stick to Sativas. You don’t want to be the person who falls asleep before the fireworks. Also you should definitely experiment with different types of cannabis. There are dozens of delicious edibles to choose from, just don’t let the kids get a hold of them, as well as cannabis infused drinks if you want to stick to the more traditional form of celebrating 4th of July, beer and burgers. There will be so much smoke from the fireworks no one will be able to notice you puffing out clouds. Stay high on the Fourth of July.
