Have you ever wanted to go on vacation and bring your cannabis but you are weary about if where you are staying will allow it? Well, now you can do that without having to worry about it! Recently, cannabis-friendly vacation rentals have started popping up in light of more states legalizing recreational cannabis. There is a website called budandbreakfast.com where you can search vacation rentals such as inns, rooms, houses, bed and breakfasts, and more that allows “instant access to safe and legal cannabis friendly accommodations worldwide,” according to the website. Bud and Breakfast’s mission is that they “provide an accessible network of accommodations and 420 activities that meet high standards for quality, reliability, and satisfaction for travelers who also enjoy the benefits of the wonderful healing plant, marijuana.”
Some of the locations that Bud and Breakfast has properties at are New York, Jamaica, Chicago, Hawaii, Denver, and more. This is a growing industry as CNBC reports that “Tourism for cannabis more broadly is also now a $17 billion industry.” Bud and Breakfast is still a growing site with 2,000 listings opposed to AirBnb who has over 6 million listings. Though, with some cannabis vacation properties, a cannabis bar with a variety of types, CBD massages, and educational talks about cannabis, according to CNBC. If you are booking a vacation rental through AirBnb, it doesn’t mean that cannabis is not allowed, in fact it is allowed in all locations where cannabis is legal, if not, you can contact the host about this topic.
Cannabis-friendly travel accommodations are only on the rise. According to CNBC, cannabis sales are expected to hit $42 billion dollars by 2026. This only means more unique cannabis experiences will become available and websites like BudandBreakfast.com will become more popular.
