On July 21st, a K-9 (called Artus) alerted an officer to drugs located in a 22-year-old’s car. He was stopped on the side of Highway 151, in Columbia County, Wisconsin, and an officer stopped to help when he saw hazard lights. Artus almost immediately alerted the deputy to drugs in the vehicle, so a sniff test was conducted; after searching the car, 0.5 ozs of cocaine, a weighing scale, packing materials, and 4 ozs of marijuana (Jacobs).

The 22-year-old was taken into custody, and was served a list of charges: “alleged possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, alleged felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor bail jumping” (Jacobs). There is no other information provided regarding the felony and misdemeanor bail jumping. They are currently in Columbia County Jail.
