My Favorite Show Stoned -

I have spent an absurd amount of my time watching television. As a film major I spend most if not all of my time consuming some sort of media. I have several go to comedies for when my friends and I smoke together, however I have struggled significantly to find my favorite go to tv show.

There are several different shows I find comforting with alone: New Girl, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Friends, etc. But something changed recently in spending more time with a good friend of mine.

We wanted a show that was entertaining and real, with a little bit of action, and light-hearted. We didn’t want to watch Love Island or Love is Blind but we felt like reality tv was an area we wanted to explore further.

After one of those short Netflix preview when you open the streaming service, we both were intrigued after seeing Floribama Shore flash across the screen.

Her and I have are almost finished with the fourth season, and we can both confirm, this show was life changing. The perfect blend of true relationships, romantic interests, TRUE family, and a lot of fighting. Floribama gave my friend and I everything we could have asked for.

Placed in a house for the summer, eight random strangers are welcomed into the beach house. Just after the first night the entire cast becomes FRIENDS. Yes, there are some hookups in the house, but at its core, the beach house is about family.

The show clearly was not supposed to succeed as the producers never replace the original cast. The same eight people come back every summer.

It’s different, authentic, and really really funny when you’re stoned.

So get all of your favorite snacks in line, sit back, and watch the best reality tv show to ever exist, unfold before you.
